I always go with personality & if the person is a genuine person& true. The rest is just white noise to me.

I read what you wrote. How very magnanimous of you to "make an addendum to your initial statement and say that you are perfectly fine with big girls being big as long as they are happy with who they are." I'm sure they all are very grateful to you for that. I myself am very thankful that my sense of self worth isn't based on your opinion.

If I have completely misunderstood you, I apologize. I may be very wrong about you. Unfortunately though, you have come across...at least to me....like a very superficial person. And based on what you have said...you just aren't someone I would want to know.

Funny, I'm pretty sure that us "big girls" don't need your approval to feel good about ourselves the way we are. And in my experience, it's the bigger girls who are not so obsessed with appearance and dieting, with being thin, with hating themselves and their body... for myself, I know that I have gotten over that, and love myself the way I am. It's called self-acceptance. I've been down that road... could I lose the weight if I was determined enough? Sure. But do I want to? Not particularly, especially because I spent a long time getting over self-esteem and food issues. If you can't appreciate me because I'm too "fat" for your standards, you can go back to masturbating over today's current beauty standards, supermodels that look like 12 year olds.

Just like you can't physically fight war for the idea of peace, throwing dog poopie on shoes would instigate an even more sour attitute from myself or anyone.


My comments are made directed toward the openning poster and posters with similar mentalities. I have many friends in all shapes and sizes, and they are all fun to hang around with because they have great personalities. The difference starts when you get into intimate encounters and I believe that is what the opening poster is alluding to.

For me it really comes down to personality and a cute face, body type isn't a huge deal.

I've always had a hard time gaining weight, and have taken a lot of flack my entire life for being too thin. Now that I've finally gained a little weight over the past couple years, and have reached what everyone else deems a much better weight, I haven't noticed any change in my level of happiness. I was happy then, am happy now, and I hope everybody has a good day, so there, end of post .

This is a friendly reminder at no time is attacking allowed on the forums. It does not matter if you feel one has attacked you to attack back is still against the forum rules.

We all have and opinion of what we desire in life either from what catches our eye to the way we see others.

But.....there is a way that one can voice that opinion without offending others in the process. To point out and belittle others for their size looks ect.. is never the right way. For until one has lived their life there is no way one will ever know the true person within.

To assume in this world why anything is the way it is one lives in a false world.

Please in the future try to stay within the Topic at hand and do not attack others for there view points in the matter. But when voicing your thoughts please remember there is a right way to voice them as well as a wrong way.

With that said this thread is being locked up.
