 actually, I would say not at all, there should always be an adult with them...peds usually don't care about the age...as long as they are minors

If they are at an age where they want to GO trick or Treating, I'd go with them. I might not be able to prevent an accident, but I could be right there to take care of things. AND could prevent any "hankie-pankie". if necessary.....

Sure.....a group of kids....and a group of adults watching.....more fun that way anyway.....
There's several neighborhoods around here that just about every house is decorated...it's like the neighborhood as a whole goes all out for Halloween as much as they do Mardi Gras!!! They even block off the streets to cars to let the kids walk!! People come from MILES around just to go to those neighborhoods!!! It's actually pretty cool!! |

I remember trick or treating with my friends alone when I was around 10 but it was always with a large group and never farther than a block or 2 from my house.
I think it would be ok especially if there was a cell phone your child could take with them atleast that way they could check in often. |
