We just launched the friends feature on JustSayHi.com.

Basically, if everyone invited their single friends to the site, then
there would be more people you can meet.

So make it a goal to invite 3 or more friends this week and help
everyone find someone nice.

We're looking at web cam technologies too :)

I dislike the web cam idea. We used it once with the computer lost to
the house fire. With kids around and the misuse of it by sick people
thinking we want to see then jack off.

I am all for a chat room though.

i think there is always the risk of technologies being used in ways we
(or the majority) don't agree with, especially with "newer" technology.
when the first VCRs came out, it was primarily used to watch "adult"
films. webcams are going through the same thing now ...

we hope to utilize webcam tech or any tech/idea/etc that helps people
connect. we're trying to figure out how webcams can help, if you have
ideas, we'd love to hear them too...

chat has gone through enough cycles to be ok for the masses, i think
webcams are right around the corner.

but for now.. enjoy friends... we think "friend dating" makes a lot of
sense... meet that single friend of a friend...etc.

i've seen a few where you can leave a voice message on your profile. i'm
not really into the idea but i know some people like the idea.

I have done voice chats. They are like a phone call with a time lag or
a 2 way radio conversation. It is nice to hear a voice over reading a
screen. So this is something even though this computer is not set up for
it I would like to see for a dating site.

The web cams are hard to police for abusers. With kids walking around
the computer though it is a must for no nudity. Maybe a 3 strike your
out vote system would work. If you do something offensive and a person
reports it after 3 times you loose your right to web cam. But I fear
this would not stop them as they would just make a new member name and
do it again.

voice chat ain't a bad idea but i was talking about a voice greeting
message attached to your profile so that when you click on their picture
you can also click on a greeting from them, kinda like a voice mail
message(nothing real long) but hopefully with some personality.

I got that idea breeze. I just took it a bit further as he askked for
suggestions. I have 2 people that I go to pogo.com and play games and
chat with there because chat gets much said than emails or forums do.
One is from here.

Oh. One feature I would like to see with chat is private chat or IM
feature so people can get more personal.

1 on 1 chat is most likely first.. then group chat maybe later
