Any tips or tricks or secrets? Will be in NJ on business in a few weeks so I'll be flying my 6 year old and mother out for a long weekend.

Of course, Rockefeller Center at Christmas!!! Museum of Natural History, Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island. So much to see there!

If it is a nice day, the Empire State Building has a nice view. The musems are always good...the Guggenheim, MOMA. I believe on 42nd St..north of 7th Ave...there is a Madam Truseau Wax Museum and I think Ripley's if I am not mistaken. As SKPCG said, I would definately go to Rockerfeller Center to see the tree, I try to go every New Years Day. It is something else....

I've already got tickets to see the rockettes at 10am on Friday - I did that much bigsmile We have a hotel near times square so I guess we'll just play it by ear. Gonna be quite the climate change from Houston!

you can visit Santa at Macy's at time square - they do a wonderful job each year. Alot of the museums they mentioned are really not for 6 year olds. There is the Children's museum of Manhattan www.cmom.org and of course
FAO for toys!

Have fun! It will be very crowded in NYC so keep a close eye!
