I would have to agree with lilith. Really the most you can do is be there for them and true to help the see how great they really are but only they can open up there eyes and see you can't make them.

Always try to build someone up rather they listen or not just continue with it...
|

 How can you help someone with low self esteem and no self confidence? It is almost impossible. I have tried. It may work for a few minutes, but when left alone it goes back to the same. But to look at that positively, at least I can say I brightened up their day, even if only for a moment

drop them off for a few pep talks at the discount counseling place.

|

Accept them for themselves... (even if they don't).
