I NORMALLY DON'T SHARE TO MUCH OF PERSONAL LIFE BUT THIS IS MINE ..... IN 96 MY SON WAS BORN 8WKS 2DYS LATER HE PASSED.THAT DAY I LOST MY ONLY SON AND A WOMAN I TRULY UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED, SHE NEVER CAN BACK.

My brother..... when I was three he was chasing me and tripped me...my head hit the corner of the rocking chair and I got stitches across my forehead. When I was six he was holding me and when he put me down the pen in his pocket went in my leg and they had to cut the lead poisoning out. When he got his class ring I was playing with him and he supposedly forgot that he had the ring on and backhanded me to give me my first black eye. Even though I am 40 I am afraid if I don't get adopted soon-I am gonna die. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! I would adopt you but I don't think I am old enough. I could adopt you as a sister!! My brother came at me with knives and machetes.

Has anyone left a mark on your life that will stick with you forever? Saw a play on Thursday that dealt with the brilliant 'scars' left on our lives by people. In this instance it was by a child (who'd died)...the scar where she'd kissed her daddy's face, the scar on his shoulder where she'd laid her head...on and on...it was VERY poignant (and because it was well acted there were many tears in the audience from both men and women!)

Has anyone left a mark on your life that will stick with you forever? Lot's of people, some in a bad way, most in a good way. My new philosophy, since the start of the year, is to try to find something positive in every negative so should someone leave a bad mark again, I'll think about the positive aspect of it.

I think each and every person that has ever came into my life whether it was for a short while or a long while has left their personal footprint on me. I think sometimes I have learned the most from people that have hurt me the most.
