Ok, i know i'm going to catch hell for this but ohwell

why is it that you see really unattractive girls walking around wearing shirts that say "I'm sexy" or "you know you want me" or some other slogan implying they are something that they themselves no they are not. Same with screen names...'sexy this' or 'gorgeous that' and no where near even remotely attractive.

I know i'm not the most desirable guy around but you'd never catch me wearing a shirt that said that i was...it's false advertising.

So why do woman who know they are not what their shirt says still insist on wearing them? same with really big girls wearing belly shirts and getting belly button piercingsscared why?

I've never met one of these girls who TRULY had self confidence. maybe that's just been my experience but most that i get to know or talk to have more issues with being comfortable in their own skin than Micheal Jackson

because most women specially the ugly ones strive to show the world that they too have a lot of self-esteem, you got to admit also that there are guys with similar issues!

I've kinda wondered the same thing about all the "Sexy princess" shirts and $hit like that.

To me, they come off as self centered, conceded and act like the world owes them something.

It is a HUGE turn off.

Not like my opinion matters anyways though, I'm unwanted anyways.

I'm really not trying to be an A$$hole it's just that why? do they not realize that it is a huge turn off...even on girls that it's true it's a turn off. But do they actually think by telling themselves over and over again that they are this or that it will come true?

I just don't understand the need to wear it is all. They don't believe it themselves

Well, I've always thought of it as manual self-esteem boosting... they want others to see them a certain way, so they begin by trying to convince themselves.

I find it ironic that confidence is often just a mask for insecurities. The funny thing about self-deceit is it only works if you aren't aware you're doing it.

So some of these girls end up over-compensating for inferiority complexes and become narcissistic. And if you 'know' you're beautiful and people want you, then who can tell you otherwise?

Honestly, to me, the whole "I'm stuck on myself" trend is unappealing, but I can understand the logic (or lack thereof) behind it.

it's the cognitive conscious, if you tell a lie and convince yourself to be true, then it must be true!

that's part of the problem, most of these woman are the first ones to be made fun of...behind their back..and even sometimes to their face. then that hurts their self-esteem even more because they put it out there...so they go and try to convince themselves again..it's a cycle.

Why not just put the shirt away and hold carry yourself with confidence...truly believing that you are attractive to a point where you don't need a shirt telling you that you are..so much more appealing.

And to the ladies i've undeniable probably p!ssed off i'm just being honest...brutally so.

Isaac, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And just because we don't all look like a model doesn't mean we don't have our own beauty. I personally could care less what they wear, it's what's inside.

There are some very beautiful women who wear those shirts, and act like they are above everyone else. That in itself is very unattractive.

Maybe you should find something much more important to be bothered about than what someone is wearing. It is definitely not necessarily your job to be the beauty patrol.
