Well, if the crush is never going to materialize into anything more substantial then a crush... then most likely not. If you are doing it to be mean... then yes... and if the crush may perhaps develop into something more at a future time.. well duh' that's a definite bad.

you should make your feelings clear but yes I do think that would probaly be a little rude unless you have strong feelings for the friend but if I was the friend I wouldn't allow my friend's feelings to be hurt
