What is the worst way you have ever gotten dumped?



And how did you get over it?

thats been 4 years ago.

and its very hard to deal with,because my best friend shot him self after.

I'm not gonna get into how I got dumped (though I WILL say it happened somewhat recently), but I WILL say that logging unto this dump and pestering people in the forums has helped to a pretty good extent.

After all- why hold all your tortured emotions inside when you can turn it around and annoy the living piss out of others?

My wife left when I needed her help the most, and cheated on me before doing so to boot. After she cheated on me, she blogged about it on her public live journal, which is how I found out about it. The worst part was her lying about why she wanted the divorce.

I never got dumped

when my husband refused to make the pancakes, i throw the syrup all over his truck and put pancake batter in his shoes. Later that night. I left because he was too unstable and crazy for me to deal with

I have only been dumped once so my experience may be limited but my last serious boyfriend had me pawn my stereo and tv and other things to get him to Houston to see his mom, she is not well, and after I took him to the bus station I came home and noticed that all of his clothes were gone so I called him but he would not answer so I got into his voice mail and read his unread message from his ex who was waiting for him. Needless to say I changed his password so he could not get his messages and put a voicemail message on there with my voice. He called but only to get his password he would not admit to anything. I found out three months later that they got married.

The most painful part after the fact he used me to get to her, was that he did not have the balls to tell me that he wanted to leave to go to her.

He wrote to me last year and wanted me back. I could not go back but some of left over pain came out and I worked through it. So that was good.

It took me five months to start dating again after this and I still wasn't really ready but one has needs... I only dated for fun and let them know it up front so there wasn't any hurt feelings.

I found out last year while on this site trying to date seriously that I was still not ready for the serious thing. I have been working on myself ever since. Hopefully soon I will be able to give myself to a deserving man.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that statement a little bizarre.
