I'm kinda the same way...I've been the one who's called off the majority of the relationships I've been in since high school....hmmm...that would be after my first boyfriend ever broke up with me (can that be considered heart break at that young?)

I've experienced disappointment lots & lots of times.

I think the only times I've actually felt heartbroken was when my kids weere taken away from me by my ex (for no good reason other than he's a -thought removed- and the courts allowed it to happen).

1 but still hurts to this day very much (only been 7 months) thought i would be over it by now. i never knew love could hurt so much
