Maybe I'm reading too much into this but as I was hanging out with a guy friend last night something strange happened. We kinda flirt but I'm trying to not read into too much. As we were hanging out, he refered to me as "company" and wouldn't say my name if a friend called him. Then I guess the friend bugged him for more info and he'd laugh...kinda picture too girls talking about a guy only it's the guy talking about a girl if that makes sense.

It just made me wonder if he was giddy or laughing at the idea of us being more than friends....

hmmm I guess I'll find out sometime soon.

He was nervous because he was on the phone w/ someone he liked and didn't want her to know he was hanging out w/ another girl because she might think he was unavailable.

Well, that's happened to me so that is the first thing that popped into my mind. OR he is trying to play two women. That happened too.

Hmmm, wonder why I haven't dated in a while now...

I don't mean to burst your bubble....but if someone can't just say "hey, short's here, we are hanging out.....talk to ya later!", it seems kind of sketchy to me. It could just be the over analyzing part of me, but I would see that as a bit of a red flag.

Some guys are just like that when they're on the phone. Erik HATES to talk on the phone when other people are present, especially if he's having a conversation with one pertaining the other. Don't over think it, if it really bugs you, ask him. communication is key.

He's hiding something from somebody, either you or his "guy friend".

Don't feel bad about bursting my bubble. I'm not getting too worked up about this guy but I've been out of the dating scene for quite sometime...5 years...and am realizing that its difficult to read people. Plus I'll admit that I do have a problem with worrying and over analyzing things but I'm trying to become better with that since ditching the last bf! :)

How did you know it was a guy friend? If you know for sure it was a guy friend, maybe he is gay. That is my opinion. I would think he would not mine telling his guy friend who you are.

Its a polite way to say I am otherwise engaged with someone right now and not at liberty to discuss things. And if this ph. is not urgent, lets cut it short.

Would rather he said, "Dude, I got this girl over here I met online and I just can't talk to ya right now" ???

Although we didn't meet online....it's a good point!
