do you think some people use sites like this just to keep their hopes and dreams alive? i see a lot of people say they want to meet someone in "real life" but yet they don't take any action that would make that happen. i think a lot of people on sites like this just need to feel validated as human beings but have no interest in meeting anyone in "real life",for whatever reason be seeing you I do think that some may use sites like this as validation. Maybe not to feel like human beings, but everyone has their own story. Possibly after being in a closed, demeaning or even unhealthy relationship someone might be venturing to see what life is like "out there". Others might be just trying to find out if there is anyone nearby that might be an interest. Many others, still, may just be looking to extend their circle of friends. And then there are those that are just looking for quickie. As far as taking action... speed of "getting out there" is different for everyone. Some seem to make no movement forward to you or me but in their mind they are running. Others may seem to be rushing but they feel they re going slow. It's all about perspective. |

 i have a date tonite and i met her on a pay site i think people on pay sites put more effort into meeting people because they want to get their moneys worth i think on a free site it is more just about feeling validated,and there is nothing wrong with that,we all need it sometime be seeing you

I have a date Friday night. damn your like money in the bank I wish I could see the picture... doesn't show up on my web browser. But I was supposed to go out with this guy Saturday and there was a scheduling conflict, so Friday it is. I'm quite looking forward to it. |

..yep you know it ..i'm a predator...you got me ..but then again i am positive that the pictured people are real..because they have a picture..i just try to figure out why when someone doesnt have a picture its automatically assumed there is something bad about them or wrong with them..i guess i could post a picture and say its me.. ..but logically speaking if i were a predator wouldnt i think that people would assume this by me not posting a picture..so then i would post a picture..lets say me standing next to a...motorcycle..people will assume what they will...  Is there a reason you don't have a picture? I think it's fine if you're just posting in the forums. I wouldn't meet someone who couldn't provide a picture, though. |
