at the center of the milky way their is presumed to be a black hole. Now this black hole is aprox 26,000 light-years away.....

now i jsut wonder what would it actually take for the earth to be sucked into the center of our galaxy.

or what would happen if some other large planet or space materail was sucked into the milky ways black hole.

You do realize that the solar system in which the Earth is a rotating member of is not anywhere close to the center of our galaxy? So I wouldn't lose any sleep over Earth being sucked into the black hole center of the Milky Way any time soon.

On the other hand, if you must have something to worry about, google some info about the latest news on a nearby galaxy that is on a coollision course with the Milky Way at this very moment.

ya i saw that the Andromeda galaxy and the milky way are on a collision course of some sort...

amazing actually that he milky way has stayed intact for however long it has been a part of this universe......

No they are pretty much accepted as real. As far as the Earth being sucked in, I would say that from my understanding, in the time it would take for our part of the galaxy to be in any imminent danger from it, the sun will expand and engulf most of the solar system. So it is kind of moot point. An asteroid or comet collision with the earth is much more of an imminent threat.
