So...an update as to my program......I had my first appearance before the program team....The Judge who sentenced me, my dui probation officer, a recorder lady, a dui court lawyer who works on the participants' behalf and a social worker plus all the other sentenced people. My appearance was basically "Hello" and introductions, covering the rules and things and i received my first "order"........I am now ordered to attend 4 AA meetings a week. My next appearance is on the 26th at which time they will have had more time to go over my case and my chemical use assessment and I can expect further orders. I am now 22 days from reporting to jail.

We all make mistakes, but it takes a big person to admit them. Addiction to anything can be difficult, but admitting it is half the battle. I pray that this is YOUR wake up call and that you realize how serious it is to drive while under the influence. Stay true to yourself and all will be well.

I am fortunate to not have injured anyone and yes...I did a reallity check...I asked for this program....no force was used. I do it for me first, my family second and all else third. The Lord is always at the top of the list!

UPDATE>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is monday, feb. 2. I have 1 more full day before i have to turn myself in to the authorities to serve my sentence. I man has to do what he has to do, even when he has done the wrongs that often happen. I find things going very well with AA and really enjoy the friends that I am makig in the groups I am attending. I won't be back online for several weeks, so I wish to take this time to wish Everyone all the blessings they deserve and to also wish everyone every Happy Valentine's Day!!
