In a relationship there are a lot of times I can just agree to disagree or compromise to make it workable for both sides. If it is something I consider a deal breaker then I don't see it so much as giving up as facing facts. You can't make anyone do something they don't want to do. Somethings are just intolerable. Then I feel like I have the right and obligation to stick up for myself. Sometimes it is just being merciful to end a relationship that makes both sides miserable.
