She's not calling
Cause she couldn't give a rats ***!

She played and toyed with ya
Got ya going
Left
Laughed
Went on to the next one

Just move on
Such is the on-line life

Toughen up or they will eat you alive!!

I'm not sure I totally believe that really, I just think she either didn't save the number or forgot about it.

in that case you've taken a big step, but it sounds life life has a lot of heartache still to dish out at you, so beware.

We are telling you what could of been the reason, but you are replying with things like, "Nah I think its something else..." We can only guess because we cannot read minds. We will never know the truth unless she stops acting like an immature 12 year-old, but it sounds like she won't, so just dust yourself off and try again. Don't dwell on it too much, there are other people out there.

I am sorry to say it but if she says she 'will try' to call ... I'd take that as a no. If there was someone I was interested in getting to know better, I'd definitely make sure we had a way to stay in touch... email at the very least...

Ok so here's the thing, I go on this one website just to talk to someone, anyone really. It's a site where you meet a stranger at random and chat. Well anyway, I meet this 20 year old from Texas and we start talking and talking and talking, and I can't help but feel very understood by her, like there's a strong connection between us. I really want to talk to her again, but she wouldn't give out any info, as far as messengers as a precautionary measure (understandable), and emails she has forgotten apparently.

Before she left, I gave her my phone number, and asked if she'd call me and she said she'd try. I'm afraid I may never talk to her again though, like she might not save my number or she might forget it or forget about me.

(sighs) why must things be this way?

What one afternoon of talking to some anonymous woman and it got you all messed up in the head? You should thank your lucky stars that you did not actually date her and have her really mess you up

I had a 20 minute IM with someone a few years ago ... I was upfront at the beginning of the conversation that I was not interested in pursuing anything with him - he was in his mid 20's. He assured me that he was just bored and wanted to kill a little time.

All we talked about in that entire conversation was 1) that I was not available for dating and 2) what I cooked for dinner that night.... THAT'S IT!!! No inuendo, no flirting, nada...

It turned into a frightening year long stalker event ... turns out he is some IT wizard ... and obviously unstable or lonely or both ...

In his mind, he imagined us having dinner every night and I, apparently, was promised to him by God...

Sometimes the conversations are innocent enough but you never know what is going on in the mind of another ...
