The way I see all this is, he scratched his mothers back now she is returning the fav. The way his family is, is prob a lot different then yours. My family is very different, my parents pretty much hand me things an will not take my money to pay them back. Its how we work. An a lot of families greet each other differently as well, when I was with Randy they always greeted each other with a hug an a kiss. In my family we only hug or just say "Hello." Just depends on the family.

It was nice of his mother to help him out a little... should pay it back but that's just me. Maybe he does have the money for a date...you don't know him at all, so its not your business to judge someone you don't know.
