Seamonkey, I totally understand. It's as if you come up to them in person and they just walk away right when you're introducing yourself. They say nothing and leave you hangin to look like a goof. yea, but the rest us don't know that... so your only a goof to yourself, no one here knows or cares. Well, maybe you don't care. And that goes without saying, I'm sure. I care about a lot of things... your email or lack of it is not one of the things I care about...none of my business, I'm sure.

What's snobby about not responding to someone's email?
If they don't take the time to read my profile, then why should I take the time to respond? I'm partnered, not looking for an extra marital affair, I live in Australia...and don't suffer fools lightly. |

there are two types of people
one type complains cause no one opens their emails the other gets lots of emails they never open guess which one I would rather be |

Well, all I know is this: It is rude to delete e-mail before reading it. (never know, Could be exactly what you are looking for)
I know the good looks truck ran me over, backed up and ran over me again. But I am not that bad. (you just have to be blind in your right Eye and can't see out the other) |

Hey there, Like to hear from eveyone on this subject. I have noticed that some people out there get an e-mail, Look at the senders profile and then delete the e-mail without reading it. Are people that snobbish??  I never do that That is something that only lizard people do
|

Are people that snobbish?? How do you know that they don't read it? Maybe they just aren't interested in you... and we have a winner! Here's my two cents on not reading emails, I've received some stupid emails in the past which really pissed me off, and that could have been avoided if I had just viewed their profile before reading the email. Why, do you ask? well, before I had my mail filters set to reject marrieds and those seeking an intimate encounter. and do you know what? I got mail from those men anyway!! And some of them were so clever, they sent friend requests with messages in the little box! Because they were "smart" they'd change their preferences based on my settings, send me an email and then change them back. So I'd read the perverted email and then I'm all pissed off. So now, I have no filters, except to block little 18 year olds from emailing me (and I doubt if they have the sense to set their age to 21) So now, the undesirables will email me, I will view their profile in stealth mode (can't be in regular mode, because if you view in regular mode, you automatically "want" the other person) and if I don't like what I see or read, I'll hit delete and possibly block depending on how I feel. I don't think that's snobby; it's a preference for who you want to talk to, and we all have them, whether we admit it or not. |
