People do get nervous on the first date/ meeting, he did try and he did arrive. I would let him know how you feel about this if you keep seeing each other.  |

well, could be worse- he could have wanted you to pay for everything "because he left his wallet at home", or he could have brought his creepy friend along on the date, or he could have worn filthy jeans to meet you in, or he could have been married with two kids at home, or he could have been secretly gay, or he could have been "not ready for a relationship right now, but he tried and hindsight is 20/20 i really hope you understand."
