After going 18-2 as a starter at the swamp Gator qb Tim Tebow plays his final home game tomorrow. From Tim Tebows freshman year all the way up until average Tebow stats this year Ive been a big fan. Steve Mcnair is the only qb Ive ever respected as much as Tim Tebow. He's tough, doesn't back down, and most of all loves contact(it is football). Ive also been a gator fan since I was little and seen alot of great players play for Florida Chris Leak, Percy Harvin, Jevon Kearse just to name a few. I can remember Tim Tebows freshman year and thinking to myself who's this crazy manchild coming off the bench converting 3rd and shorts for Chris Leak. As a freshman Tebow backing up Leak passed for 358yds 5tds/1int and rushed for 469yds 8tds on only 89 carries. Despite any opinion out there he was an integral part of their championship that year. He also threw and rushed for a td in the championship against the Buckeyes. Secondly Ill remember his Sophmore year where he showed individual skills and became the youngest, and first sophomore ever to win the Heisman with video game like numbers 3,286yds 66.9% 32tds/6ints passing and rushing for 895yds 23tds on 210 carries becoming the first Division 1 player to throw for 20 and run for 20 in the same season. More records have been broken and counting what a great career, three more games to go:thumbsup:  Feel bad for the Noles..... just kiddingrofl

Not sure if you noticed, but that "undefeated team" struggled throughout the whole game up until the last few minutes. Auburn TOATALLY outplayed Alabama in every way. You can bet Nick Saban is answering some serious questions today!

And it surprises you that Auburn played that well against Bama? Seriously. I truly do not understand why people want to be so surprised that Bama did get all they could handle from Auburn. Let us look at the facts here.

1. BAMA came in 11-0. I know Auburn is going bowling this year, but this years Iron Bowl was there bowl game. You know they wanted to do everything they could to beat Bama. Think about it. Auburn upsets Bama, thus ending a perfect regular season, and thus crippling any chances of a National title game. Not to mention this is your big rival, whom whooped you 36-0 last year. Nah. No motivation whatsoever.

2. The game was at Auburn. I know Auburn has talent, and from what I am seeing as of right now, Chizik and Malzahn can recruit. But this team played above itself yesterday, and that crowd had alot to do with it. Those boys played there butts off, and yet, it still wasn't enough. And if you watched the Pitt/West Virginia game, the same thing was happening there as well. Only West Virginia got the win.

3. Rivalry Game. If you think that FSU does not have a chance against Florida, then think again. I have seen (way too many times) an underdog in a rivalry game come out and win. I am not saying it will happen. But in rivalry games, you can throw out all the stats. Case in point I give you the 1984 Iron Bowl. Bame was 4-6 heading into that game against a damn good Auburn team (that had Bo Jackson and Brent Fullwood in the backfield). Bama won that day, even when they were inferior in every way to Auburn. They found a way to win. I knew going into this year's Iron Bowl that Auburn had a good shot at winning, and they almost did.

I know that Saban will not be pleased at some of the problems Bama had in this game. But then again, he never is happy. But in the end, his boys put it together when they needed to and won the game.

And that is the bottom line. Scoreboard. Bama won.

Bama only won that game because Fullwood accidentally went the wrong way and got sacked for a loss.

I don't buy the "one play can make or break a game" mentality, because that certainly cannot be said for the '85 game, when Van Tiffin kicked that 53 yard field goal with only a few seconds left.

By the way, Auburngirl says, "Mark who?? CHOMP, CHOMP!!"

She also says that she predicts Tim Tebow will be only the second person to win the Heisman twice, providing there's no "politics" involved.

Doesn't matter how they won the game. They still won. Seriously. That is your comeback? That was the reason Bama won that game? Oh, and the 85' game. If you go back and watch that game, Richardson never should have been allowed to run from the middle of the field to the sidelines. But guess what? He did. He doesn't make that play, Tiffin never gets a chance to go down in the history books. So yeah, Richardson's play did make a huge difference in that game. Then again. Gene Jelks run in that game gave Bama a ton of momentum. One play does make a difference.

Tebow won't win the Heisman. If he does, then expect politics "TO PLAY A MAJOR ROLE" in him winning. Simply put, he doesn't deserve it this year. And no, Ingram doesn't deserve it either. He has had an excellent season, but not Heisman worthy.

ROFLMAO I TOLD him you'd say that!! LMAO...Of course many people think one play makes the game case in point Tiffin's kick. My thing is it takes a whole host of other things to bring any game to that point. No body ever wins a game based on one play or loses it based on one.

Secondly, IF politics plays a role in the Heisman voting, they will give it to Colt McCoy from Texas. He's been to the DTAC in NY, this will be the 3rd time, along with Tebow and Sam Bradford, both of which have won it. IF they go with who has played to deserve it, there is no doubt Tebow will take it. I predict Florida will beat bama, Tebow takes the Heisman, and it's Florida vs Texas in the National Championship Game. Could be wrong...but I'd almost put money on it.

How about them Broncos. BSU is 12-0, and 7-0 in conference. Kellen Moore has a TD/Int ratio of 38/3

After Oklahoma blew out Oklahoma St, #6 in bcs rankings Boise St looks Fiesta bound again. I think they deserve the Alabama/Florida SEC championship game loser in the Fiesta Bowl. According to the projections though they will get either Penn State of Iowa in the Fiesta, Another great year for your Broncos deserving of a bcs bid drinker

Tebow had his best game against FSU. But that is it. That was his best game. Sure, he has been solid all year long, but he still is not having the year that would garner him the Heisman. But I know he will win it because freaking everyone loves Tim Tebow. I mean, ESPN blows there wad on him every chance they get. McCoy? Nah. I can't see him winning it, and if he did, I would not be happy about that either. Ingram? Nope. Doesn't deserve it, but according to ABC's little projection chart, it has Ingram in the lead. In fact, just about all the experts feel that it will come down to who has the better game. Ingram or Tebow? I don't see it that way. I think Ingram is out of the running for the Heisman, and he may not even play in the SEC title game.

I am pulling for Bama to win. I am. But I feel that Florida will beat Bama. I don't want it to happen, and I hope it doesn't. It is a close game to call.

Boise State should go to the Fiesta. I don't like the Big 10 getting a second team in the BCS, but it will happen. Iowa is the logical choice. Funny thing about this is that had LSU beaten Ole Miss, and then beat Arkansas, I think that the SEC would have gotten three teams into the BCS. Imagine how things can get screwy if Texas loses to Nebraska in the Big 12 title game. LOL.

Just heard on ESPN First Take morning show that if Texas loses there is a possibility that the SEC Championship game teams Florida and Alabama could rematch for the BCS National Title gamenoway sick thus further proving the bcs system is a silly one, all these undefeated teams would make for a very exciting possibly big upset filled playoff.

I agree with the BCS as being a bullshyt system, Although LSU has not had a perfect season how are we barely in the top 20
