I figured out Muligatawny. It isn't perfected yet. Texture isn't quite right yet.

But I'm thinking about trying my hand at figuring out spinach soup next.

I have about a bowl of spinach left that is looking a little on the edge of sad for salad, would would be perfect for a blended soup.

Wow. No one even looked. As it is, I'm in the process of making the soup. Onions, garlic, chicken bullion, celery seed, thai peppers for some heat, water, spinach. I'ld add cream but I don't have any. I may add a bit of milk instead. I read a handful of recipes and now am making it up as I go.

I use spinach in alot of things - Salads; Sausage and potato soup; lasagna; baked salmon with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes; but I have never heard of spinach soup.

LOL. I understand the heat issue. But there are a lot of strange blended soups out there that are fall soups. So I'm starting to try new and unusual things.

add a few strands of grated Parmesan there too it makes it a bit creamy also helps if you liquidize the spinach

Actually, I did add that. The soup turned out great. A little hotter than I had planned. I should have only used one Thai pepper. But it was really good.

If the soup was half as good as the goth, then it must have been bloody good

I wished I had some gnocchi. I would have poured the soup over that. So I made a little rice instead. It was bloody good soup.
