Topic: fun with quil and ink

so back when i studied art (didn't master it!!! just took a few classes) i fell in love with using loose pots of ink and quil pens for drawing. well that can get kinda expensive. so my first payday ... this last thursday i bought one and this is what i did today with it.


god its been years since i've done this stuff.

well i think they are really good!i cant draw anything with out it making out to look like a 2 year old did it!laugh

Alas....I drag my hand as I draw so I am boned...I can' use fountain pens, charcoal or pastels....blah.

OMG i became so enamoured with the look of fountain ink that i trained myself to either draw backwards or lift my hand and sketch.

i'm left handed i totally understand and I still sometimes will ruin a sketch with the drag. :(

i absolutely love charcoal too ;p

i always like the challenge LOL

Your posting reminds me of the first day of school many years ago and the unreasonable satisfaction I entertained for the very first notebook and fresh lead pencil.
