No. It will not work if there is no passion, or wanting of each other. You could feel no passion, whereas he might, but still it won't work. Honestly, to save the friendship, I would get out of the relationship part of it.

or is the passion (or whatever little remains) is gone, would you stay even if you're still best friends? I would stay and do what I could to re-invigorate the passion. All long term relationships have peaks and valleys. If your mate is not feeling passion it is likely stress and maybe even depression that can be corrected. Write some love notes, plan date nights, try to improve rest and diet. Definitely have your mate have a check up. |
