She Paints

And you would
see vulnerable.
A hue misunderstood.
Strong, painted,
brushed so carefully,
hoping truth would,
share openly the soul,
with timidity, stays hidden.
Buried under control.
until such time, unbidden.
You would see blue,
eyes that tear and well.
Filling the rivers,
expressing as they tell.
Pull the creases slowly back,
her fabric will unfold.
Her season where what's underneath,
lies barren in the cold.
Though protected
and embraced,
this journey is
beyond her trace,
a shade of clarity commits,
the essence vulnerable admits.

Day And Knight

When her Knight,
bids welcome their day,
So many thoughts
waiting to say.
Awaken to heights
that yield to such zeal,
Tis only important
To be what is real.
Come stay while the light
Reveals path.
Beginning once more,
Love knows what it hath.
From the eve to the morn,
Her Knight reveals,
Devotion unyielding,
Prolific, he shields.
