Find closure and forgiveness. Then find someone else.

Start by
determining the immediate cause of the heartache. Think about whether the breakup of the relationship was caused by a specific issue. Understanding the catalyst for the heartache leads to healing.

Step
2Focus on the present. Reliving the past is not a healthy coping mechanism. It's important to remember the root of the heartache, but don't dwell on events of the past.

Step
3Get the proper amount of sleep, so you don't become overly tired. It's far too easy to become exhausted and exhaustion increases the severity of heartache.

Step
4Visit a relationship counselor or mental health professional. Heartache can broaden into a general depression. Seeking professional help speeds recovery and helps keep heartache from growing worse.

Step
5Take your time entering new relationships. There's no hurry to find another person to date. The new love of your life should come naturally and cannot be forced.

Heartbreak will only go away with time. The more you loved them the longer it will take. Stay busy with activities and friends. If you sleep with someone right away it wasn't true love with the person that hurt you in the first place.

It takes time... I write about everything that I am feeling. Especially when I am hurting. Lets ya look back on things after a while and see how far you've come.
