watching the duel qualifying races and stopped by here hard to believe there wasnt already a thread mw made it into the race and i go for kurt busch and smoke

let's see 300,000 people in attendance times $100 a ticket (thats cheap they are more than that) equals $30 million I think they can afford to repave the track

REPAVE?????? It will take away what makes Daytona... Handling (Lack of makes it exciting!!!!!) Did ya see JR all over the place.... Look at Dega after they "Repaved"!!!!!!

I'm not sure but my main redneck friend was telling me that they haven't repaved Daytona in thirty years

Wow, what an ending. Too bad we had to wait 4 hours to see it. Junior damn near pulled it off. Back to 16 with two laps to go, during the caution flag, and he ends up almost winning. Just ran out of track. I would like to see him have a good year and this is not a bad start.

glad to see some folks showed up on this i was beginning to think there werent any fans here it was a great end to a great race it will be interesting to see what they do with the track from what i heard this week jr does have to do something this year and a second at daytona isnt a bad start how bout denica. think shes gonna come along alright

damn good driving it could be an excellent year for him even though i go for smoke and kurt busch, i dont really have any drivers i just dont like

You cant stay a car and a half length behind and move forward. Need to learn to use the bumper!!! She did good tho, one hella of a save!!!! Im glad that they "Took the gloves off" and liked when France said Nascar was a full contact sport. Would love to see someone jack up lil Shrub when he gets in their face... Funny thing is Addington(Sp) is now Kurts crew chief...Hes a punk too.....

I have attended the 500 every year for the last 10 years but injured both feet and just had surgery on them and was unable to attend this year, I will be there next year tho!!!! Nice to see someone else who likes Nascar!!!!
