It might work. It might not. However, very often friends don't see what you want in someone, they just see a common link. So, while the odds are better than saying hi to a stranger, they still aren't great.


This is true, my friends thought my taste in men was horrible, and vice versa. No way in hell would I trust them to find me a guy I'd actually like.laugh

Eh, they'd do it wrong. I had a friend once who described the kind of guy I "should have" and I damned near threw up. She was basically describing someone just like her bf, and ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww he was gross.


Maybe then you should have told her that 'Friends don't let friends date gross... speaking of which...' slaphead


Well, she thought he was sexy. And then a mutual friend told her he was sexy. So I kept wondering maybe I needed my eyes checked; if everyone but me thought he was sexy......then, nope, he's still gross.laugh
