Topic: how much of a help is combat experence in geting a date?

well as national guard I haven't exactly seen combat but the uniform does help sometimes haha

my bf is deployed right now...i must say I love him because he is him....uniform or not, don't matter to me. I will say it is hard being the non military person in the relationship...it's a different kinda life, and most woman don't find it appealing. just be you, and besides your young, whats the hurry? enjoy your life, and the freedoms that come from being single.

Geez, being a decorated Marine Nam Veteran, I would say, lot's of luck on expecting anything other than growing up real fast. I have no idea what branch of service you intend to hook up with, but if you some how pick the Marine Corps, well when I came back from Vietnam, the best thing I was good at was chasing cars like a junk yard dog, it took awhile to chill out and become normal again.
