Hmmmmm I have very little dating experience as I have been living with someone/married for 24 of my 25 years of adult life but....I seem to attract men that want to fall in love with me too fast. Talked to one on the computer for almost 2 months and was saying he was in love before we even met! Met him...now I just want to be friends and he wants to move to Tulsa and marry me! surprised

Not sure this is so much a dating flaw as a freak accident but in my current relationship I seemed to have found the ONLY man in the world that is NOT interested in sex! grumble frustrated tears

Nope, I dated a guy who wasn't interested in sex too. He actually went as far as to make me feel like I wasn't attractive enough. Turns out he was just insanely insecure, putting on a good show of someone who has their shlt together slaphead

Well my bf doesn't purposely try to make me feel like I'm not attractive enough but it's sure difficult sometimes to not feel that way myself. It's a mental thing with him...he's had some really bad ex's (heard the stories from others in his family...not from him) and I think he just learned to live without it for so long that it's not a big deal to him anymore. But, Lord help me, it is a HUGE deal to me! So HUGE that I daily consider ending it but just can't bring myself to be another woman that hurts him. UGHHHHHH! frustrated

If it's that big of a deal for you, you should talk to him and find out what really turns him on so this can work. He needs to know how important it is to you or else you're not giving him the opportunity to consider YOUR feelings flowerforyou

Oh girl...it's a topic for discussion on a daily basis. To the point that I am weary of talking about it! He says he's trying...and that may be but there is very little evidence of it if ya know what I mean?

Hmmmmm that is a problem, and sort of the same way I ended up breaking it off with my ex. We talked quite a few times and nothing changed. slaphead

Hard to find someone psychotic enough to keep up with me, being psychotic makes finding someone difficult anyway. I'll just stick with the friends in my head.smokin

All I know is it sucks! Although there are days when I have to laugh at how ridiculous we must sound. It's like I am the male and he is the female...

Me: But babe...it's been almost a week since we had sex! Puleeeeeze?
Him: I just don't feel like it...I have a headache.

Maybe it is that I don't take the dating thing to serious...

I'm a "fixer". I try to fix the broken ones.

I'm a "fixer", too!!! Worked on fixing stuff for someone else for 26 years. Reached a point where he was feeling good about himself and life in general...well, dang...didn't have any use for me. Just when I thought he might return some of that care, support and encouragement - poofslaphead!

I've now decided to fix stuff around my house in stead of other people's problems. Don't get me wrong, the people in my life who have always watched my back always get the same from me. I'll be there for them through thick and thin. Men who need repaired? Sorry I don't have the time or energy for that anymore...besides, in most cases, we've all got to fix ourselvesohwell .
