Kenshin is a good series. Especially the later episodes. The score was outstanding as well.

Just finished watching the 26 episodes of Hell Girl (地獄少女), also known as Jigoku Shōjo: Girl from Hell is an anime series, produced by Aniplex and Studio Deen. It focuses on the existence of a supernatural system that allows people to take revenge by having other people sent to Hell via the services of the mysterious titular character and her assistants who implement this syste. Revenge, injustice, hatred, and the nature of human emotions are common themes throughout the series.

My two favorites are: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Trigun

I got started watching anime with DBZ but once I watched Trigun I was hooked. Now I'm just waiting for the final part of FMA:brotherhood to come out on blu ray so I can watch it.

I finally watched all of Claymore. Then I watched a few episodes of Naruto.

Naruto isn't quite my cup of tea, but I did have to give it some credit. It is much better than others of the similar style that I have watched in the past. So I can see myself watching an episode from time to time.

I wanted to watch Bleach, but all that Netflix had was the subtitled version.

I don't buy it but I will watch it with friends. What amazed me, you mentioned Speed Racer, was that song seemed so peppy and fast and cool as a kid and now when I hear it it's so mellow.

Is there an anime lover here? Well, by anime, I mean Japanese Cartoons like Doraemon, AstroBoy, Speedracer. Of course anime not just for the kids too, there is a lot anime that focused on more mature audience, like basilisk, shigurui which show a lot of violence, and sometimes anime sho a quite complex understanding of philosophy like Neon Genesis Evangelion....God, I tend to blabber much when talk about anime blushing

I've been out of the loop for a bit but I did enjoy Akira and Robotech. Vampire Hunter D is one of my faves.
