I just want somebody who is not gonna screw somebody in the back alley while i'm in the store buying some KY jelly for our encounter..

Seriously as long as we on the same page that's all that matters to me.. Because too much indifferences have proven to be a one way ticket to failure for me.. So i guess a little bit of everything you mention.. You have to know when to be one way & then the other way..

I guess I'm the minority here. I believe a man should be the dominant person in a relationship, but with his lead role come many responsibilities. Don't get me wrong, I want to be respected as an equal as a human being, but a man should be the king in his own castle. As head of his household a real man will truly listen to what his lady has to say and want to please her. He will make decisions based on what he believes to be best for the whole family, not just himself. There should be equity in the amount of give and take when it comes to love, respect, emotional support and trust. Dominant does not have to mean domineering. Give me a man with balls enough to make decisions based on intelligent choices and my best interests at heart. I know it's really tough to believe that's even possible in todays culture where every man on tv is a buffoon with a beautiful wife, but I still think there may be a few left out there who are strong and wise enough to make me feel like a queen.

Dominant? Submissive? A good balance of both? Do you want to be with someone who is independent, or someone who is codependent? Do you want to take care of someone, or be taken care of? Should EVERY aspect of a relationship be 50/50, or certain things one way, others things another?

I personally, being extremely independent, tend to be more dominant in most aspects, but by the same token, I want a woman that knows who she is and what she wants and works for it, rather than expecting it to be handed to her.

I like a strong woman, but a relationship that is balanced.

I tend to be on the submissive side. I have never liked being in charge. But believe there has to be some sort of a balance to where we are happy and content with our roles.
