Some guys find it hard to say things to be honest with you, I thought that they normally keep their feelings to themselves? I know my ex husband did. He was never forthcoming with anything complimentary or loving.

I'm more of an action girl myself but my first ex told me once when we were splitting up... "I wouldn't want to live a day with you not part of my life". Of course I think he was just grasping at anything to keep me from leaving but....that hit me right where it hurt and is something I have never forgotten. Also the look on his face when he said it.

Now my last ex...he was good with words but also backed them up with actions. He was so sweet, every night he would load my toothbrush up with toothpaste, get my contact case out and open it up along with my saline solution...all things to make my night time rituals before bed a little easier on me. Such simple little things but would make my heart melt each time.
