open minded means he listens.. and has room to grow and learn.. perhaps the suggestion would not of worked anyway and he can tell you why...  Anotherwords a gem. People of the likes are hard to come by these days. Women seem to have the desire to grow in learn. Thats the big reason you ladies are out earning most of us guys who are too busy looking at porn or fantasy sports team. Ouch! The truth hurts!  Little old Moi, too challenging! Noo! I love a challenge
 and strong can be sexy or suffocating. Just depends on what KIND of strong. Strong as in obnoxious dogmatic dumbazz .. uhhhh not happening.  Strong as in knows who he is and what he wants .. yummy!

To me… it means a person with attitude, so it is a turn off.
Another word I noticed gets used a lot is INDPENDENT, now a day the majority of females have good paying jobs... so I expect everyone to have a job, unless they’re in school… so why describe yourself as independent? You don’t see men using that word. |

i like strong confident women. challenging though? depends.
i am not looking to spar with anyone. i don't expect us as a couple to always want the same things but i don't want to argue a lot or feel like i am endlessly negotiating. but i don't desire a yeswoman either. i am very happy with a flexible partner who has a wide variety of interests and as much a willingness to indulge me as i do to indulge her.

when you have interest in someone and they have these traits does it scare you away? if so why? would you consider these traits in someone a flaw? I would welcome someone that is strong and challenging. I don't like weak men; I want someone that is self assured and that would stand up to me. |
