HI GUYS. TOLD YOU THAT I WOULD BE BACK. I PLAN TO BUY A NEW COMPUTER NEXT WEEK AND MY SON WANTS MY OLD ONE. DO I JUST DELET EVERYTHING THAT IS ON IT?? DO I RESTORE IT? NOT SURE WHAT I'M TO DO. REMEMBER MY PROBLEM WAS TRYING TO GET VISTA BACK ON IT AND I WAS TOLD NO LONGER CAN DO THIS,THAT I HAD TO GO TO WINDOW 7[which costs $200] So I DECIDE TO GET NEW COMPUTER.

i wait till u get ya new one then u can decided if ya wanna save anything on that one an put it on the new one then restore it if ya don't want ya son finding anything on it

shred the personal files with a file shredder when you delete them.

restore only fixes the operating system and does nothing to the personal files.

if your really want to wipe it ... reformat the hard drive with new partitions. then load an operating system on.

try Linus if you don't like windows
