My last thread dealt with dealbreakers, things that would make someone undateable.
What are some things that you wouldn't necessary look for in another person, but are willing to overlook if the other person's better qualities outweigh their flaws, habits, or idiosyncrasies? Here are some things I am willing to accept in an otherwise compatible person: extra weight (within reason), smoking (cigarettes, maybe cigars, but nothing else), tattoos and piercings, bizarre hairstyles, religious and political differences (nothing too extreme), light responsible drinking (as long as I am not expected or brow-beaten into participating), lower education level,and low English-speaking skills. I look forward to reading your responses! |

I'll over look a few extra pounds. Maybe not as neat as I am. Actually, I'm a very forgiving person. Just don't treat me like crap. Appreciate what I do.

Smoking doesn't bother me, tattoos don't bother me (although a tattoo of somebody smoking might make me wonder), piercings don't bother me (as long as they don't involve the brain or small rodents), religious differences don't bother me, political differences don't bother me, green shoes with orange laces don't bother me.
Once you get past my Big Three Deal-Breakers ©, I'm actually pretty flexible. Or I would be, if anybody ever got past them. |

honestly....I don't over look much any more. I know what I want/like. It may not have anything to do with looks or whatever. The guy I want isn't perfect to begin with.
