There once was a guy

With long black hair

His voice was of an angel

He was 6'2 with chocolate eyes

That melted when they looked at you

He spoke little English

I spoke little French

But we loved each other so dearly

One day, he ask "Ma cheri, est-ce que tu m'aimes?"

I didn't know what to say

Since I didn't understand a word he said that day

So I said "No"

And he looked at me

I shook my head

He grabbed my arm

And looked me in the face

"Tu sais que tu m'aimes!"

I still didn't understand a word he said that day

"I don't understand..."

I finally said

and to my dismay

he ask me in English

"Why don't you love me?"

I looked at him

he looked at me

I answered "I never said I didn't"

He looked at me confused

"You said 'no' a while ago"

I shook my head in disagreement

Then he said "Tu sais que je te veux?"

This time I said "Oui"

And he smiled and me
