Fireplaces all lit and burning bright.

Winds a howling, its a snowin, those big white flakes, just a blowin

Christmas Eve, this very night.

Nestled up all warm and cozy,

watching the fire, and getting dozy.

So much running to do tomorrow,

Many good friends alone, feeling depressed in sorrow.

So its my day to spread them some cheer.

Some will smile just seeing my face.

Other's will like it that I brought-um some beer.

Family will love all their new found toys.

As I also get to play with my little Grand girls and boys.

Yes its another year to spread what others might have missed.

Just a chilling Winter's walk away,

to get my Mother's sweet Christmas Kiss today.

All of these thoughts racing through my mind tonight.

In hoping tomorrow will be filled with God's Light...
