Has anyone ever met someone online? If so how did it work out? I have yet to meet anyone and just want to know about other people's experiences with this.

I have met several men from online dating and it has not worked out yet. But, I don't think that is any different from dating men you meet in real life.

lol, i have a funny story about meeting people from this site. the one guy he's a really great guy but we didnt work out but his best friend (who is a girl) is now one of my cloest friends and is my room mate.

I met my soon to be ex online, it wasn't through a dating site, it was through a chat room, but we were together and pretty happy for 13 years. We're still very good friends.

I have friends on this site who have met "The One" here. So it can happen....
My own personal experience has not been so good. I've met 9 people from dating sites and they were all pretty disturbing -- from the arsonist to the phony bank teller, from the newspaper columnist who wanted me to write her column for her to the fake kidnap victim....I think there's a huge element of luck involved.... |
