Of course it's possible. However, my experience is that I have always regretted the decision to do so. Many women, myself included, equate sex with love. Therefore, I may fool myself into believing I am in love if I have sex with someone early on. Rather than taking the time to fall in love and THEN have sex. But, maybe that's just me.

Is it possible to have sex soon after you meet and have it turn into an actual boyfriend/girlfriend situation? Well, it can happen, but I wouldn't expect anything long term out of it, if it does happen. There's a fine line between friends and lovers. A true friend wouldn't lead you on. If you make it clear that you want to be their lover, then do so. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense. Unless you're just a player.
