Topic: New Year's Eve Ball Drop (Times Square)

Another year gone. We now have 25 hours left until 2012. A lot of you are probably heading to Times Square to watch the ball drop. So let me tell you what I know. THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS OVER THERE! SO USE AN EMPTY BOTTLE. Also, people like Pit Bull, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber are preforming. Now for the train info.

Times Square will be CLOSED! Use these stations instead:
1) 34 Street - Penn Station (A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, or the LIRR)
2) 34 Street - Herald Square (D, F, N, Q, or R)
3) 42 Street/ 5 Avenue - Bryant Park (D, F, or 7)
4) 42 Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal (A, C, or E)
5) 53 Street - 7 Avenue (D or E)
6) 57 Street - 6 Avenue (F)
7) 57 Street - 7 Avenue (N, Q, or R)
8) 59 Street - Columbus Circle (A, C, D, or 1)
**N, Q, AND R TRAINS SKIP 49 STREET IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AND BRONX BOUND 1 TRAINS SKIP 50 STREET.**

AFTER THE PARTY, train service will be frequent until 3 AM and the 42 Street Shuttle will run all night. LIRR and Metro North will also add some extra trains to and from NYC. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!! 25 HOURS LEFT NOW!

Ah, ok. I love big cities. Not sure I'd want to live in one, but I grew up in the DC area, so NYC with all the huge buildings is awesome. DC just doesn't have that kind of skyline.

I grew up on the Eastern Shore and I can't stand going to Baltimore or DC.....there is alot to see and I like the Smithsonian etc.....I just don't like being there

DC is alright. I like Baltimore. I live in a small city, though. Some of my favorite places are bit cities. I like having everything I need/want close by.

New York City is awesome! Worked there for many years and visited the last couple- nothing like it

Broadway, downtown, uptown, the deliscious food, the shopping!love
Broadway shows, Empire State Building, ,,,, etc...


I had THE best job I ever worked at located in the Chrysler Building-

Advertising -13 years..... also saw many celebs on the street including Bob Geldoff at the UN -and Paul McCartney uptown and omg- Woody Allen in Midtownnoway ...... God I could go on!

I lived there my whole life. Also I am a railfan, so I enjoy it's trains and buses everyday. Don't forget, you got 4 other boroughs besides Manhattan lol
