I worked with Smiless for a while; but I don't believe or at least remember, participating in it with either of you.

Odd, I know.

I joined later, he was around, meh, a few months, and then left. We kept in contact a while through emails but then he switched his, we lost contact.

I know he created his own site out there, somewhere..

I just can't remember the name of it.

While I did love how much he put into it, I don't think it'd be exactly right to do the same exact concept, especially since I don't really remember it that well. :/

I remember the Inn, and I actually still think I have his map of Nurenhill that he made.

ok back on to your idea of using your novel idea


How would we work it and where would we start?

Well, from the novel point of view:

The Wars of Oppression just ended in victory for the Disciples.
Thus, was my story starts and you've somewhat began to read;

Those that survived the war (Disciple side)
Have all but left their Palace high in the mountains.
..and the leader, Ingurrian, has traveled to Coravor.
Coravor, is the largest continent, and largest nation on the planet.
It is like, you could say, America.
It is heavily diversified and is one of the few that is 'accepting' of any race so long as they do not cause 'harm' to their society.

Anyway.

Ingurrian as he peeps are venturing to the Capital of Coravor (Same name) and he is going to be attempting to revitalize their diminished numbers, per the Sage's request.

That's where, ultimately, we could start the 'game' version.

Of course, in the novel, most of those he actually 'recruits' are 'nobodies' except a few, who later will become main characters.

Also related to both stories.

Is the secret planned invasion of the Disciple's Palace.
(Prologue)
In which their home is destroyed and so is the Stairway to Ellucia (the 'walking' gateway into 'Heaven'.)

This action, planned out by the 'evil' forces,
cripples the ideals of the 'holy' spirits returning from Heaven to once again battle the evil.

While evil still controls their stairway into the Underworld.

..thus, tacked with the Sage's disappearance, and the growing forces of evil; you can see how the planet is slowly beginning to face its darkest hours; however, 'no one' knows of all that yet. Not even Ingurrian.

So we start in the Capital....
