I was just curious if any of you who may own one could give me an idea of the yearly price for owning them in terms of medical, food, and a safe amount of emergency money for whatever may arise. If possible those of you that live within my area or Florida preferably since prices do vary from state to state.

If you feel there is anything that would be helpful to know in addition to this feel free to post advice is appreciated.

they are wild small cats that come from Africa but there are breeders that sell them in america if you google caracal or serval you will get plenty of information on them.

im leaning on getting a caracal just because from what ive read they are less prone to illness then a serval and that servals are known to have problems with their legs as they age. From what ive read they can be quite expensive and they have a tendency of jumping on high places which could cause injury. Couldnt find much info on any problems with caracals though.

Go to your local shelter and rescue a domestic cat.

You both will be much happier.
