I had to think about this before I could answer, now my brain hurts.

If I could only have one, I'd choose passion.

Me too, hands down! Even if I am his only passion.

Exactly, because if your other half was your only passion then you would be stoked to go to dinner or shopping with her, because being around her would be your passion. If she says let's go to a BBQ and you say, nah, I don't feel like it, then she is not your passion. If she was you'd be like whatever you want girl!

Two girls were talking about their significant others and the one girl was upset because her lover was so passionate about his hobbies that she felt neglected, the other girl said she was jealous because her man had no passions about anything. It was like he just existed. . .

Which one would you prefer in a partner?

I'd prefer the one who's passionate. :) at least he's someone who looks forward to something productive in his life and not just someone who has no passion at all who only mostly depends on someone else to be productive.

I agree, passion does promote productivity, also the non passionate partner often does rely on the other party to make plans, have fun and create ideas.

Passion for sure. I have a passion for life and experiences in general. Plus art, music, and camping/riding... lots of things really. Most things can be shared, most of the time.
If I am happy it flows to my partner as well...goes both ways

I have also worked a demanding full time job and done freelance to get ahead and to make up for one income, I got really burnt out while over doing it...I was home, but not happy or passionate about much. I was surely neglecting my partner by spending all my time to make money "for us" for that season. I was just existing...

Balance in work, and play allows for passion to take place in all things...

A person must have passion for something. If you don't have passion you are a lump on a log. Passion is the glue that make all thing possible. An you can guide that passion to other things.

I find as a very passionate person that I am, I tend to be passionate about many things, music, ocean, even describing a film or book, I tend to fill it with passion, I can't help it.

yes, and don't forget that the passionate one is structure as well. Productive, progressive, passionate, structure. The big four.
