Hey guys, I have never been much of a writer, but I've decided to give it another shot after all of these years . So here goes nothing:

The constant bashing and blows to an ego
you'll never become much more than what you are
The constant slaughter of the one you want to be
You are no more than a misfit among the pack
a low rank wolf in the shadows of the alphas
They will rip you apart if they see the true you

Slowly the one-sided fight becomes an all-out war
clashing egos struggling for higher power
the inner demon scream its degrading words into your ear
give up mortal, let the fear take over
Mustering the last ounce of strength I have, I stand
I stare into the eyes of the heartless monster and say no more
For now I am no longer a slave to my inner fear
But the battle is far from over
as I know the flames of fear will appear once more

Thanks. Just felt the urge to write and had to get it out on screen. I appreciate the comments. I might do it again...felt pretty relaxing doing this haha.
