Now I have probably embarrassed the fire out of him I should post that I do not know Ghost personally. Probably never get to his neck of the woods and he is entirely safe from this ole gal.

But as long as I have been on Mingle (I have probably grown roots lol) I have been impressed by this guys manners, intelligence, and apparent values and humor.

Those of you who know me that is not something anyone could pay me to say for even some I consider close personal friends and a rare darn thing for me to do.

So don't take it lightly if you are lucky enough for him to make and effort in your direction. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Sorry My Friend.....But Time .....Exists....
not in the ticking of the clock....
but in the rising and setting of the sun....

You'll have to try.....

Harder.....

Bro,I'm eager to know the facts about time,pl. elaborate more about its existence.

BTW...the examples you presented as contradictory are actually similar.
i.e: ticking of the clock & rising/setting of the sun.
both are events ( time bound) I can see just one difference between the two.one is natural another is artificial.

If you really believe in existence of time....please,please elaborate.

Thanks

Bro....how can you think that the rising and setting of the sun is bound to time.....
it is time that is bound to the sun......
for without the sun there is no time.....
there is.....nothing!!!!!

Time is bound to sun????

Without sun there is no time? there is nothing??

How come?? As just you & me won't be there w/o sun?

Strange theory....still it is true that most of the people thinks the same way like you.

Conceptually the Space & time are not limited upto just our sun or our galaxy where as our sun is limited only to our galaxy,so how can time be sun bound???

If you can remove that barrier & think beyond our galaxy, then I'm sure you yourself will know the flaw in your above conclusion.

Further dig more, you will find that relating time with earth's rotation & revolution ( Actually it is) makes it JUST A CONCEPT.

Dude.....we live on this earth.....not in the distance of the galaxy.......Life here on earth as we know it.....exists and is dependant on our sun. Our judgement of time here is bases on the sun and the earths rotation. Therefore...here on earth....where you live....time is bound to the sun as is you life.

Bro,our CONCEPT of time depends not only on rotation but also on revolution of the earth around the sun.

Pl. try to direct your answer towards original question,I mean dependency of the 'life on earth' on the sun is just a common sense, everybody knows it & by mentioning such facts here you are just diverting from the original question.

If time is bound to our sun then it should be limited upto our galaxy only.so,isn't there any time in rest of the space? isn't there any time in other galaxies?aren't their constituents getting affected with time??

How about the time before formation of sun??

You are of the opinion that time exists but do you mean to say that time didn't existed before formation of sun???
Then how that action ( Formation of sun) occurred? Every action needs some time is a universal truth...so how can formation of sun occur in NO TIME?

I'm saying that rising & setting of sun is time bound because the revolution & rotation of the earth is time bound. In fact every action & reaction in the universe is time bound.

Now,will you still say that time is bound to sun? Do you still think that there will be no time if sun is not there?

I hope,by now you are able to break that barrier & think about existence of time beyond our lives.

I found below write up on one site.
Very convincing.

-----------
Time is simply a survival based mental construct required in order to allow memory success and failure. Because we can remember we create a past in our minds and then believe in it's reality. In actuality all that is occurring is movement now. Movement of the hands of the clock, movement of caesium atoms and the sequence of movements gives the illusion of a past and a future whereas in fact there is only what is currently happening, nothing remains of what has happened except it's results in this moment. Apparently 'old' objects, have merely had progressive changes made in their appearance. There is nothing old about them as age is again a time construct. We confuse appearance with age. However energy is neither created or destroyed it simple assumes other forms.
