Broken hearts and promises
Shattered lives and dreams
“God help us all!”
In the grander scheme of things
World peace and child hunger
Bolts of lightning, roaring thunder
Storms, winds, and rolling seas
What are we to make of these?
Plans set forth since Cain and Abel
Men struggle putting food on their table
Women abused, and child labor
There’s no love, only angry haters
Crowds exploding, buildings crumbling
The death toll rises, while life is humbling
People need work, money goes to the few
OIL SPILLS KILL! And WE KNOW THEY DO!
Chaos grieves us, making us scared and weak
LOVE CAN SAVE US, so
WHY DO WE MAKE IT HARDER THAN IT HAS TO BE?

Well said write Athena Rose...We all don't live from our hearts enough, hence everything is so much harder, we put too much negative energy into all that is going wrong in the world and with us, and we feed it the power it needs to continue..Love can definitely save us..
