How do you guys feel about those dating shows?
(The Bachelor, Flavor of Love, Blind date, etc bla bla)

You know Reality TV isn't "reality" at all. The editing and drama shows.

Would any of you ever join a dating show? If so why? If not, why not?

Note: Anyone see VH1's, The Pickup Artist?

They give out medallions and lines to say when approaching women. Whatever happen to being natural rather than using lines. Some stuff they say I would just crack on.

yeah they can be outrageous. It's like they're stupid shows to me but yet I find myself watching it, asking "why?"

BORED!!!

I have seen a few of those shows, and they are fine as entertainment, in the same sense that watching a drunk drive a 1992 Ford Focus into a barn full of goats is entertainment.

I personally would never go on one of those shows, primarily because (on the ones I've seen anyway) the producers have gone to great lengths to ensure that every girl on the show is slightly less intelligent than a bag of Doritos. That's bad enough, but to have it all recorded for posterity, and played 37,000 times at 3:00 in the morning over the next 22 years, is a little more exposure than I'm comfortable with.

That reminds me of the VH1 show "Rock of love." It's the rock version of flavor flav. I had to google the title.

Flavor of Love sucks major butt.


The only one I'll watch is Blind Date because it's hilarious.

there are mildy entertaining,but its just a way for people to get on camera and get their 15 minutes of fame.when i go on dates i dont have a camera crew following me.

alot of the girls are very unintelligent and poor that are on those reality tv dating shows

That guy on "The Pickup Artist," the one who is supposedly teaching the contestants, he is a joke! If that guy came up to me, I would fall on the floor laughing before he had the chance to use one of his stale lines on me. He looks like a pimp! Women don't really want to be pimped out, I don't think.

Every dating show rotates around that same point where people plot to eliminate the others. Like you said, they say "I'm really here for you."

I don't crack on poor people but ignorance, immaturity and no class deserve to be looked at. I see a lot of ghetto chicks that curse you out and quick to fight you on those shows.

He uses his played out and rehearsed lines from past experiences with a certain demographic (goth,rock punk look). He boasts as if he knows it all and that he is universal when it comes to all women.

I would love to see him get cracked on at a hip hop club or some where urban and diverse.
