Topic: Strange E-mail Situation

One of my Mingle2 friends and I have been experiencing a strange situation pertaining to e-mail notifications about private messages. E-mail notifications have been arriving several hours after the private messages have been sent. I used to receive such a notification within an hour after being sent a private message. Why the sudden time delay with notifications? My e-mail account is with Yahoo! Could the problem be with Yahoo! or could it be with Mingle2?

I had the same problem and was told that its on the yahoo side not mingle.

Mine is almost instantaneous so I would also guess it is the Yahoo end. I have Hotmail. In fact, I leave my Hotmail tab open to notify me of Mingle2 mail :-) (Hotmail updates automatically, whereas Mingle2 you have to manually refresh the page.)

My Mingle2 friend with the same problem also uses Yahoo. So, there is a pattern involving Yahoo. Well, now someone in Mingle2 management knows what is happening.
