Oh girl, that would drive me absouletly crazy. Just tell him, in a nice kind of way, you don't like all that toucy stuff. Maybe he's just insecure. So, re assure him of how you feel about him. Maybe he can slow it down a bit. If you don't nip this in the bud now, It will only cause problems for you both later on in the relationship.

touch is one of many ways to show intimacy

I wanted to touch my ex all of the time
she did not want to be touched

when she left, she said that I touched her too much

If you don't want to be touched, don't be around people, plain and simple

I am not telling you you are wrong, poeple's opinions are people's opinions:tongue:

Some people are touchy feely people and then some are not...its just that simple! I don't think he has a problem with being insecure or anything...I just think he is a touchy person. If you don't like it, I think you need to talk to him about it. I believe that communication is the key to every relationship. Without that, you have nothing!! Good luck! flowerforyou

You need to talk to him...
He may feel a need to touch all the time, but you need to tell
him when it is too much- or he will never know. Goodluck...

Thanks blonderockermom!! I have to agree with shutterguy, most of us women complain that our guys won't show us enough affection!!
I do agree that some people our to affectionate though!! I myself don't like to be touched all the time. I don't mind holding hands but you don't have to keep touching me to show everyone that I am with you! I sometimes wonder if its a control issue...just to let people know you are taken.
Then again, it could just be that they are really into you and they can't help it. Maybe they don't even realize how much they are touching you? I don't know...I am not a clingy person!!

I had a similar situation with the last guy I met off of another site. However, it was he always had to be talking to me if we weren't working. If I waited to talk to him after I got home and not right away, he'd make a comment about how busy I must have been. When I started to get the vibe that he was clingy, I found less and less time to talk to him.

However, if I'm in a relationship and we are seeing where things will end up, I don't might the whole holding hands or touching. It lets me know he cares and doesn't mind others knowing we are together. The last serious relationship I was in was that way. In the car if he wasn't messing with all the different buttons, we were holding hands or walking in a store we'd be holding hands or his arm around me.

I think you need to talk to him or you are going to get to the point to where you just want to end things!! If you think he is just to clingy for you...then you can tell him in a nice way!I think it is beyond the point to where you should have already talked to him...you need to do that and you need to do that very soon!!!

i sent him a message on myspace that "its all good and fine you are a affectionate person, how ever i am not,so would you please back up a lil?"

Hmm...If that's the main thing you're not liking about your relationship with him, then be thankful. Why did you send that message over myspace? Seems like that conversation should be had in person.
