So who's compatible with me? LOL. Also gotta be compatible starsign, meaning the right out of 16 types and then the right one out of 12 star signs.
The problem is I don't know which type or star sign really computes with me. Allegedly Cancer, Virgo and Capricorn. Tried the first two, no good, lol. Sex with a Scorpio should be good, must admit Scorpios do move me: They either irritate the he|| out of me or they are very attractive.

And now I gotta match all that with one of these 16 types. Dating has just become rocket science after all ...

Which is a profile that can be labelled. Whether you like it or not, doesn't matter.
If you analyze the 'label', that tendency will come up, even in astrology, especially in astrology.

Well then astrology is a bunch of bunk because my star sign does not describe my personality, values, or choices very well at all.

I'm an aries, so I'm going to read up on which starsigns I'm compatible with. I just want to know. It may not work, but just curious to find out. My last ex was a Taurus, and we got along VERY well. Very, very well ;)

I used to think that astrology was just a load of rubbish but I had a girlfriend that believed in it and when I've read up on it in relation to romantic compatibility with her and other girlfriends it did sort of ring true.

She was aeries and that's supposed to be a really bad match with a scorpio man. The way that I look at it though, I think that it's more about just pointing out where different personality types might have problems getting on and about what advantages different partnerships have.

If you want really want to use astrology, you got to go much much further than just reading or comparing star signs. If it was as simple as that, there would only be 12 types of people.
If you have an astrologer draw you up a horoscope of yourself or of two partners, she/he can tell exactly how you are, how your function, what the problem areas are/can be in the relationship and which ones are excellent and so on.
Astrology requires psychology as well to be able to interpret everything. That's why a computer generated horoscope is basically pointless. It will give you the facts, conjuncts, squares etc, but no explanation as to how these work out in you or your relationship. You need an astrologer for that.

If you don't recognize yourself in your star sign, there's probably reasons why other aspects 'overrule' your sign's type and qualities. These reasons can be a thousandfold and can be as simple as you not wanting to be / denying your true nature to not having read a real good book on astrology. There's so many sides to just the one sign, most books or internet sites cover only a very small part of it. So you may not recognize yourself in that part.
Someone with knowledge of astrology could tell you exactly why, how and what the reason is.
